-Warranty- “LIFETIME” MANUFACTURING: We guarantee our manufacturing for the lifetime of the building in which our flooring is installed. Wood is a natural product whose characteristics include minor colour variations, grain variations, knots and mineral streaks. Given this, minor quality variations inferior to 5% of total square footage purchased are not covered by this warranty (as per industry standard). Should an individual piece be doubtful to grade, manufacture or finish the installer should not use the piece. “25 YEAR” WEAR THROUGH FINISH: The finish on Elegance Hardwood Flooring is guaranteed to not wear through or separate from the wood in residential use for as long as the original purchaser resides in the home of installation. The following exceptions are not included in warranty: Indentations, scratches or damages caused by abuse or negligence, water, erosion, loss of gloss, insects, pets, spiked heel shoes, high traffic areas, failure to follow manufactures specific written installation and care instructions. Does not cover damage caused by sunlight as sunlight will slightly change the appearance or colour of any hardwood floor, this discolouration is normal and not due to a finishing fault. RELATIVE HUMIDITY: Hardwood is a natural product therefore your floor will continue to shrink and swell depending on the seasons and heating conditions. To mitigate these variations the relative humidity of the building the flooring is installed in should be kept at 40-60%. We recommend that the temperature of the residence remain constant between 65-75 ° .
